Global Village

Global village will be hosting artist Jennie Peterson for the October ArtWalk. Jennie started making wine cork art back in 2017. After hurting her back at work, she was a Juvenile Detention Officer and had to take time off. She needed something to do with her time, so she started making ornaments, magnets, and trivets with corks.

About Global Village: 

A gift from Global Village is a gift that gives twice! As the longest known running Fair Trade organization in Montana, Global Village is a nonprofit dedicated to the support of the world’s low income artisans and farmers through the operation of a Fair Trade retail store and educational activities that promote the values of Fair Trade, tolerance, and cultural appreciation. We bring local access to global impact by caring items handmade by artisans, in developing areas of the world, who working their way out of poverty.
