Billings Symphony Society
Billings Symphony will be hosting artist Jamie Burr and Aurora, a string quartet for the April ArtWalk. Aurora will be performing a variety of music from 5:30-8:00pm. Quartet members include Lauren Griffin, Hannah Clough, Paige Driscoll, and Kassidy Conlin.
Join Jamie Burr in welcoming the warmer, longer days of spring and summer by taking a walk amongst her acrylic garden. This show will focus on floral still life paintings by using washes of acrylic layered upon each other to showcase the intricate details of a flowers individual characteristics and beauty.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
About the billings Symphony Society:
Founded as the Billings Symphony Society in May 1951, the organization’s mission is to enrich lives through music. Today that mission remains the driving force behind the Billings Symphony.
The vision of the Billings Symphony is to become a premier symphony for a community of our size.
Each season, the Billings Symphony performs for tens of thousands of people throughout south-central and eastern Montana and northeastern Wyoming and helps introduce music to children, youth, adults, and seniors through Explore Music!, the Billings Symphony music education and community engagement program. We have the potential this year to reach thousands more through our live streaming programs.
