Barjon’s Books
For the August ArtWalk Barjon’s Books we will be hosting artist Hank Williams Fuller. Hank is a Billings native who has always enjoyed looking at and making Art. The creative process helps him keep his bare feet on the ground and his spirit to soar in the Big Sky, riding the thermal updrafts above the rimrocks. The monumental Eagle Sandstone formations have been home and habitat for millennia; a canvas of pictographs and petroglyphs and even places of eternal rest for the bones of First Peoples and the dinosaurs. The cliffs and caves and the sandy niches are wonderful places to commune with the wise Spirits of Elders who seem to inhabit the sandstone by way of the rusty concretions found there.
Like those that came before he avails himself to the cathartic healing experience that comes from absorbing and then painting what he can see and feel and learn of these magical places.
