Tom Tully

Tom Tully was born in Sheridan WY, and lived with his family on a ranch on the Tongue River for his first
nine years. His interest in photography began in those years when he was given a Kodak Brownie
Hawkeye camera for Christmas. Years later, when he was in his early twenties his mother gave him a K-
1000 Pentax camera, whereupon he began his part time hobby taking pictures of travels and places.
More recently he has used a series of digital cameras, and now an iPhone.
His photographs are not necessarily based on any particular themes, but simply snapshots of what
appeals in the moment; and secondarily as a way to document his life’s journey.
