Miranda Raposa

Miranda Raposa is an artist and illustrator whose work focuses on the wildlife of the Rocky Mountains and National Parks. Raposa has lived her life by not just traveling, but truly experiencing the United States. She has lived in many different places, including Bozeman, Billings, Jackson Hole, and Daytona Beach, all of which she calls home. The wonders of biodiversity and geologic marvels of her homes have taught her so much about respecting the wildlife, the land, and the local communities. She is a self-identified “explorer” and has made it her goal to visit as many national parks and monuments as she can. This love of the outdoors has manifested itself in her body of work, as she aims to encourage her audience to appreciate natural beauty as much as she does, for a better chance at protecting these unique landscapes for many centuries to come.

Raposa’s work features a variety of mediums, but primarily focuses on illustrations with watercolor and ink, and acrylic paintings.
