Mark Ryan

Mark’s art is inspired by the world around him both in sight and sound. He draws inspiration from nature, his community, and his love of music. Mark says “I love the use of mix materials; Spray paint, vinyl, paint, flowers, skateboarding, markers… just about anything but definitely warmth.” Mark’s work can be seen throughout Billings and most recently as the winning design of the 30th anniversary poster for ArtWalk. The 30th Anniversary poster features a skateboard along common American Traditional tattoos designs as well as spray paint and represents the growing underground community culture in Billings. The pinks, oranges, and yellows a reminiscent of the beautiful Montana sunsets. The series that Mark will be showing will is to get more in-depth with the 30th poster and the various elements in the textures.
