Photographer of the Wild Horses of the Pryor Mountains
I have traveled the world and lived all over this great country of ours and my first memory of seeing mountains was on a trip to the Smokies as a young girl and later in life, on a return flight from a tour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia while in the US Air Force, stationed in Germany. Since then, mountains have captivated my imagination and inspired my soul. My induction to the magic of the Pryor Mountains and the incredible wild horses who live there happened in 2011. Little did I know, this was a new beginning. I would soon move from working as a high-end chef in Florida, to becoming an outdoor photographer and wild horse advocate for the Pryor wild horses. I moved to Montana and took a break from my culinary career, spending countless hours exploring and photographing the vast, untamed 39,900 acres of land the Pryor Wild Horses call home. Over the years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about the horses, the geology of the mountain and its intricate ecosystems. Little keeps me away from spending as much time as possible on the mountain. I have an inexhaustible passion to learn and experience as much as possible about this precious area. The more I learn, the more my love for the Pryor mustangs grows. It has been a life-altering love affair and continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
